Japanese students at RG

These days 18 students and two teachers from Seikei, our Japanese partnership school in Tokyo, are visiting us. We are honored to receive a group of Seikei students every year in August and greatly appreciate interacting with Seikei.

The Japanese students are staying with Danish families  (at RG students’  & teachers’) and enjoying to learn about Danes and Danish culture.

Today the Japanese visitors are following classes at RG to learn about the Danish educational system and to interact with our students.

3 Japanese girls got a real treat in 2v where Alberte had brought along “Danish pastry & flags” to celebrate her birthday with her class friends.

Another highlight of the day is when the Japanese students are visiting a Japanese class where the Danish and Japanese students are going to interact in Japanese! A great opportunity for our students to actually speak with and interact with native speakers.

In October a group of Danish students doing Japanese are paying a return visit to Seikei which is going to absolutely amazing 😊

We would like to thank families and teachers for receiving the Japanese students warmly. We greatly appreciate your hospitality and entirely depend on your support whenever we receive students from abroad. Thank you very much!
